JoshCartoon Network is a popular long-running chidren’s channel that has been on air since 1992. Over the decades, the channel has produced some of the best-loved animated shows of all time.

One show released during their best years was ‘Johnny Bravo’, which proved hugely popular with audiences. Johnny Bravo is a man like no other – he’s big, he’s blonde and he’s not very smart.

The three of them team up for a number of island-based adventures that sees them learning about the tribe.

‘Dexter’s Laboratory’ marks a high point for Cartoon Network.

This much-loved show follows the wild antics of boy genius, Dexter, who must contend with his inventions that more often that not cause trouble for him and his annoying sister.

As well as trying to fit in, Dexter also happens to have a knack for saving the world. The popular show captured audiences with its sly humour, running for a number of successful years and spawning a film as well.

‘Oggy and the Cockroaches’ (Cartoon Network, 1999 – 2015)

Cartoon Network is known for releasing weird animated series, and it doesn’t get much weirder than the superb ‘Oggy and the Cockroaches’.

Oggy is a cat who likes the simpler things in life – dinner by the tele, taking naps, and overeating. His life of luxury, however, faces a dilemma when three cockroaches decide to move into his house.

Poor Oggy must contend in a battle of wits to try and rid the house of the menacing insects for good.

‘Young Justice’ (Cartoon Network, 2010 – 2013)

Cut short in its prime, this animation follows the young heroes of the Justice League.

While the likes of Superman and Batman are off battling foes, it’s up to a team of young heroes to rescue earth when it comes under attack.

Leading the line in this much-loved cartoon is Conner Kent, Robin and Kid Flash, who set out to prove they can hold their own without the older generations helping them.

‘Young Justice’ is often considered one of the greatest comic book animated shows of all time – and rightly so!

‘Ed, Edd n Eddy’ is another beautifully wacky animated series from Cartoon Network.

The series follows three young boys who scheme to make money fast, even at the expense of family and friends.

Its success saw it become on of the longest-running shows in their history, which also saw a spin-off film!

Due to its daring nature, ‘Ed, Edd n Eddy’ was also popular among adult viewers as well.
