A group of flamboyant school kids escape from the pressures of high school by joining a glee club, aptly named ‘New Directions’. Under the directorship of Will Schuester, the glee club flourishes and the kids become more confident by the day.

Each member of the glee club has their own quirks, and are often tagged as being misfits, but when they are performing together they feel like they can take on the world. Watch the kids as they rehearse, perform and get to know one another – and be prepared to sing along.

If you cannot get enough musical drama, other TV series like Glee include new kids on the block, Empire and Nashville.

‘The Glee Project’ (Embassy Row, 2011- )

Aside from the competition element, The Glee Project closely mimics Glee and works hard to ensure that the quality of contestants is worthy of such a great show.

‘Nashville’ (Kudos Film, 2013- )

Country music superstar Rayna Jaymes has one last chance to keep her fading career alive, but she is not altogether happy about it.

40 something Rayna is not ready to hang up her boots, but her fans think otherwise, as do her management. In order to remain on tour, Rayna must allow up and coming teen star, Juliette Barnes, to tour with her or else she will be dropped from her label.
