Raven Baxter is a teenager with the sight. She draws upon her psychic powers and creativity, as well as various disguises to help herself get out of comical situations. She must also deal with her younger brother who seems to antagonise her throughout the series.
If you want series similar to ‘Every Witch Way’ but instead of some light-hearted fun, you want to watch something with a bit more intensity and darkness then ‘Charmed’ and ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ are for you!
Prue, Piper and Phoebe and the three Halliwell sisters who learn that they are the most powerful witches to be known of – ‘The Charmed Ones’. Each sister has their own special power that they must use to ward off evil.
Buffy Summers moves to Sunnydale hoping to escape her Slayer duties. However her plans are thwarted when her new watcher – Rupert Giles – reminds her of evil’s prevalence. She attends Sunnydale High which is actually built on top of portal to demon dimensions. She must tackle the evil that is prevalent within her community whilst facing the usual human drama of day-to-day life.
One thing that all of these shows have in common is that the leading ladies are strong and powerful within their own rights. These can range from teenaged girls to young women, however they’re all on their own special quests to make the world a better place.
