The Best Non-Violent Xbox One Games: Have Fun Not Fights!

Hooray for Never Growing Up!

You may be here because you’re looking for good purchases for your child but you may be here because you just want to play something a little out of the ordinary. I think there’s an unfortunate separation between “grown-up” games and “kids” games when really it doesn’t matter what we want to play and why (as long as you meet the minimum age requirements that is!).

I don’t know about you but I’m in my 30s now, married with a kid and a mortgage and that’s more than enough adult behaviour for me so if I want to watch cartoons (which I do, frequently) and play non-violent games such as ‘Dance Central’ and ‘Zoo Tycoon’ I don’t really care what people say. Sometimes there’s nothing I love more than getting really stuck into an adult-themed game with plenty of sex and violence but sometimes I just want to wave my arms about and chop up fruit.

What I’m trying to get at is that you should never feel judged for playing something that isn’t manly or grown up enough as long as you enjoy it. And you can apply that advice to your other favourite forms of media too!

Zoey’s Verdict

It doesn’t matter whether you’re eight or eighty you’ll find something that suits you in the list above and you’ll have no problem with violence permeating your game time. A lot of these games are perfect to relax too so maybe you just want to play something a little different before you go back into the fray of multiplayer. Whatever your reason for being here I hope you enjoyed my picks and found exactly what you’re looking for.
If you can pick a favourite non-violent X1 game let me know which it is and why!
