Paola_Bassanese_itcher_contributorWouldn’t it be nice to have a cheerleader shaking her pompoms at you, every step of the way at major life events? You can carry your own personal cheerleader in your bag or briefcase as there’s a book that does just that: here’s my Be Your Own Life Coach book review. ~ Paola Bassanese
A few years ago I read Fiona Harrold‘s Be Your Own Life Coach while I was planning a change in direction in my career.

Why This Book?

What I enjoyed about Be Your Own Life Coach was the book’s no-nonsense approach and practical advice based on Fiona’s experience as a life coach.

The book has a series of exercises to help you focus the mind and help you design your action plan.

When you feel that you are not in control and want to get more focus, the practical exercises contained in the book can be very helpful.

No-nonsense approach and practical advice

The key benefit of this book is that it asks the right questions.

By identifying what you want to achieve and talking you through how to take action, you feel empowered to tackle any challenge that life throws at you.

The language is deceivingly simple and direct, yet very powerful as it motivates you to take action.

You feel empowered to tackle any challenge that life throws at you

Has anything good ever happened to you by simply complaining about your life?

No, I don’t think so.

It’s only by taking action that you can make some positive changes in your life.

This book really helped me figure out what I wanted to do next in my career and how to go about it.

Because I liked it so much, I was wondering if other people had the same experience as me.

Let’s have a look at what other readers had to say about Fiona‘s book.
