What App can Find songs? In fact, What App Can I Use to Find the Songs I’ll like?!

A couple of great apps came out recently and they’ve changed our lives.

Take SoundHound for instance (Shazam but better, I think). I personally love this app and I use it all the time!

For those of you who don’t know the concept, it’s an app that analyses the song you’re listening to, for about 20 seconds, and tells you what it is.

Let’s say you are in a bar and you just love the song playing in the jukebox (yeah, it’s an old-school bar). You just take your smartphone, launch SoundHound and it will tell you exactly what it is, without having to walk through the crowd to reach the jukebox and get the answer.

It will also give you information about the artist, his next gigs, the possibility to get it on YouTube and it also keep records of your researches.

I personally love this app and I use it all the time!

But there’s one thing this app won’t tell you, and this is how you can find similar songs! Because once you get home and listen to your new finding a couple of times, you might want to discover some more of the same... Similar songs, similar artists and even discuss about them with other people who also loved them …
